YouTube Script - Entrepreneurial Report #3

Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome back to my channel. Today, I want to share with you the latest update on my entrepreneurial journey. The past month has been incredibly busy and filled with new experiences, so let's dive into what's been happening.

Querative

First and foremost, I've been dedicating a significant amount of time to building my first app, Querative. I've been handling all aspects of development, from designing the user interface to implementing the payment system and working out the app's core logic. It's been a steep learning curve, but I'm making progress day by day. There have been a few frustrating moments, especially when I've hit unexpected bugs, but each one I've solved has brought me closer to a finished product. I also got to learn a whole new tech stack along the way.

Pizza Pitch

One of the highlights of the month was participating in a Pizza Pitch event in my local area. For those unfamiliar, these events provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs and startupers to present their ideas in a casual setting. Standing in front of a room full of people, explaining my vision for Querative, was nerve-wracking but extremely valuable. The feedback I received has given me new perspectives on my project and areas where I can improve.

Nasa Space Apps Challenge

Another great experience was taking part in the NASA Space Apps Challenge hackathon. This global event brings together coders, scientists, designers, and technologists to tackle challenges related to space exploration and Earth science. It was intense, working under time pressure to develop solutions, but it was also inspiring and gave me a lot of experience. Working with team members from different backgrounds and skill sets showed me new possibilities and ways to solve problems. Even though final project wasn't directly related to space technology, I learned a lot about rapid prototyping and thinking outside the box.

Networking

Networking has been a big part of this month. I've been on the lookout for chances to connect with other entrepreneurs, and I've joined an entrepreneur circle. These interactions have been priceless. It's not just about potential business opportunities; it's about finding a community of like-minded individuals who understand the unique challenges and joys of building something from scratch. We share advice, support each other through difficulties, and celebrate each other's successes. This sense of community has been incredibly motivating, especially on days when the entrepreneurial journey feels isolating.

Contest

I also took part in a local business idea contest with boys. I can't share the results just yet, but I can tell you that the process of preparing for and participating in the contest was really enlightening.

Interview with Santiago

I had an interesting experience this month when I was interviewed by Santiago, another indie maker from Argentina. He's currently working on a cognitive tracking product called Lebenmaster. We covered a lot of ground in our conversation, from my experience with Querative to the challenges of being an indie developer and our visions for the future of personal productivity tools. It was a nice change of pace to be on the other side of the interview, and it gave me a chance to share my thoughts about my product and entrepreneurial journey in a new way. Santiago's project, Lebenmaster, is pretty interesting. It's designed to help users track and optimize their cognitive performance, which could have a big impact on productivity and personal development.

Sole Propritorship

On the business side, I've taken some important steps to formalize my venture. I opened a sole proprietorship, which involved navigating some bureaucratic processes but ultimately gives me a proper legal structure for my business. I've also activated Lemon Squeezy for handling payments.

Product Hunt Pre-Launch

Speaking of launches, I've initiated a pre-launch campaign on Product Hunt. This platform is a great way to generate buzz and get early feedback from the tech community.

Social media activity

I've also increased my activity on X. Social media can be a powerful tool for entrepreneurs, especially in the tech space. It's a slow process to build a following, but I'm starting to see some engagement and connections forming.

Conclusion

That's it for now. I'll do another update after month. Take care.
